Extremely intense Pinot noir flavors in a port-style fortified wine. Residual sugar is 7% and alcohol is 18.5%. It exudes deep, rich flavors of raisin, plum, blackberry and blueberry. The sweetness is balanced by firm acids and the alcohol, which leads to a huge mid-palate and then begins a finish that we’ve clocked at 2.6 minutes. A very immersive Pinot experience. Limited production from the home vineyard on Springhill in Albany.
